It has happened again. From Southeast Asia (Laos specifically) comes yet another tricky virus sure to frustrate even the most ardent computer users. Imagine the frustration it may cause to lesser skilled users.
Oddly enough, the Mickey Mouse Virus did not originate on a Disney website. It originated in an ESPN story about the Red Sox. Our best guess is that the creator just wanted to add to the hopeless dreams of Boston fans by further sending them into a black hole of hopelessness.
Even more interesting, the Southeast Asians have made it only possible to rid one's computer of the virus by verbally reciting a difficult series of words in their native language. They had done this once before in 2004, causing a wave of permanent computer crashes.
Rest assured, the solution to ridding your computer of this nemesis is surprisingly simple. It does not even require adequate computer programming knowledge. You will, however, need to activate the voice over command on your system. Once that is done, simply follow the directions below.
Step 1: Press Control X57M at the same time.
Step 2: Lean in so that your closer to the computer's microphone (any mispronounciation of the remedy could result in a permanent computer fault.
Step 3: Clearly recite the Laos sentence below twenty-five times. You must start slowly, getting faster and louder with each repeat.
